Jarvis second at Joburg Open
He carded rounds of 67, 67, 64 and 66 in the four days of the competition.
Local golfing ace Casey Jarvis fell just short of joining legends Nick Faldo and Seve Ballesteros as the only players to win three consecutive events on the DP World Tour, finishing in an agonising second place at the Joburg Open on March 8.
After capturing back-to-back titles at the Magical Kenya Open last month and the Investec South African Open Championship on March 1, the 22-year-old Freeway Park resident ended the tournament tied for second alongside Brandon Robinson-Thomson on 16-under par, just one shot behind eventual winner Dan Bradbury.

Jarvis produced a superb showing across the rain-affected four-day tournament, carding rounds of 67, 67, 64 and 66 to stay firmly in contention for a historic third consecutive victory.
He narrowly missed a birdie putt on the final hole that would have forced a play-off. Starting the final round two strokes off the lead, Jarvis briefly surged to the top of the leaderboard before a costly bogey on the 71st hole saw him surrender the advantage.

Despite the heartbreak, the rising star can take comfort in a remarkable run of form that has already secured him a place at The Masters next month at Augusta National Golf Club.
