The 2026 Westown Square Polocrosse High Goal is expected to attract elite players, passionate supporters, and visitors from around the world.
Taking place from July 16-19 at the Durban Shongweni Club, the event is expected to further raise the profile of the region while supporting local tourism, hospitality and business activity.
Westown Square has been announced as the title sponsor of one of South Africa’s premier polocrosse events, in a partnership that seeks to celebrate sporting excellence and community connection.

Founded in 2016, the Shongweni Polocrosse High Goal has grown into one of the most anticipated events on the international polocrosse calendar, attracting competitors from countries including Australia, New Zealand, the UK, Ireland, Zimbabwe and Zambia.
“As the 2026 Westown Square Polocrosse High Goal approaches, both organisations share a vision of growing the sport, welcoming new audiences and showcasing the best of what KwaZulu-Natal has to offer”, said Carlos Correia, Westown Square developer and CEO of the Fundamentum Group.

Shongweni Polocrosse chairperson Samantha Heynes welcomed the partnership, describing it as “a natural alignment between two organisations invested in the future of the region”.
“The Durban Shongweni Club and Westown Square have both become important destinations within the Outer West, each attracting people through unique experiences and a strong sense of community.
