Witness sought in murder and robbery case
The police are urging the public to help them find a witness in a Cato Manor case.

DETECTIVES at SAPS Cato Manor are making an urgent appeal for information regarding the whereabouts of Bhekani John Cebekhulu.
According to Capt Thulani Zwane, the police believe he can assist with information regarding a murder and armed robbery that took place in the Cato Crest area in March last year.
“The man identified as Bhekani Cebekhulu is believed to be from Stop 9, Cato Crest area. It is alleged that on 21 March 2013 at around 6.35pm, a 65-year-old victim, Sipho Shezi was at Bellair Road in Cato Manor when he was shot and killed by an unknown man during the robbery. He took an undisclosed amount of cash before he fled the scene on foot,” he said.
A case of murder and robbery was opened at Cato Manor Police Station for further investigation. Through investigation the suspect was arrested and charged for murder and robbery. The suspect, Sibusiso Mabaso (28) appeared in the Durban Magistrate’s Court and he is still in custody.
