Emotional time for Brett Williams’ fiancee

Louise Scott left the Durban regional court emotionally drained yesterday after coming face to face with the four men accused of murdering her fiance Brett Williams.

BRETT Williams fiancee Louise Scott flew in from the UK over the weekend to “represent Brett” at his murder trial which started on Monday.

The British national came face to face with the four men accused of murdering the father of her child after a Super Rugby match at Kings Park Stadium almost a year ago.

Scott told Berea Mail she couldn’t describe her feelings after seeing all the accused outside the courtroom with their families before the trial began.

Sitting in the back row of the public gallery with head bowed for much of the proceedings, Scott said it was a “very emotional” time. Looking visibly emotionally drained with tear streaked cheeks, she said it was hard to hear what had happened that fateful night Brett was killed.

Scott will be heading back to England on Saturday a day after the trial ends.
