BEREA police appeal to the community, especially business owners, to be vigilant during the holidays.
Lieutenant PN Naidoo, said business owners must be crime aware and repair cameras that are not working on residential and business premises.
“Although crime has been reduced recently, we want to caution the community to take precautions as theft out of motor vehicles and theft of motor vehicles were common.
“Don’t ever leave valuables visible in vehicles and do not park cars on the road instead of parking inside complexes and don’t leave windows in the home open at night,” he cautioned.
