Maths boffs compete internationally

Help raise funds for maths boffs to take part in overseas competitions.

GLENWOOD Preparatory School’s pupils have been selected to represent the province in two international mathematics contests.

Last year, three of Glenwood Prep’s pupils jet-setted off to Hong Kong for the annual Po Leung Kuk Mathematics competition. In July this year, Micaela Williams of Glenwood Prep, will compete in the same competition in Hong Kong. Another four pupils, Jena Woodroffe, Sanyal Brijlal, Calvin Meyer and Corben Stubbs, will travel to Daegeon to compete in the Korean International Mathematics Competition.

To raise funds for these tours, Glenwood Preparatory will host a cake sale and tea garden at the school’s Founders’ Day on Saturday 17 May.

The Glenwood community is urged to support this worthy cause.
