Umbilo SAPS march for Nigerian girls
Umbilo SAPS Victim Support Centre says #BringBackOurGirls.

IN response to the media frenzy surrounding the abduction of more than 234 Nigerian school girls, Umbilo SAPS Victim Support Centre along with the Umbilo community and other role players, will hold a peaceful walk in support of the search to find the girls and return them to their families.
The walk takes place on Friday 23 May from 10am to 1pm, at Bulwer Park. The group will walk down Davenport Road, into Brand Road, up Clark Road and back to Bulwer Park where a talk on human trafficking will be presented by Umbilo SAPS.
The whole aim of the campaign is to take action against child sex trafficking and to portray that as a continent, South Africa does care about what is going on in Nigeria.
“We want to show our support by hosting this walk and in solidarity we embark on this campaign to create awareness that we will not stop until they #BringBackOurGirls,” said Sgt Beverly Manqele from Umbilo SAPS.
Take your placard in line with the theme of the walk and get involved.
