Talk on China’s gardens, people and places

Learn more about Chinese gardens and landscaping, its unusual food and political aspects at a talk by Charles Botha .

CHARLES Botha will give a fascinating presentation at the next Durban North Garden Club meeting on Monday 25 August at 7.30pm in the St Martin’s Church Hall, Chelsea Drive.

Interspersed with quirky humour, Charles will show some spectacular Chinese gardens and landscaping, but will also deal with many other interesting features in China, such as unusual food and political aspects.

Charles and his wife, Julia, are authors of the popular book Bring Nature Back to your Garden and founders of the Botanical Education Trust, both of which promote conservation of indigenous vegetation.
