A PHOTOGRAPH of an alleged trespasser helped a Blue Security reaction officer to track down and arrest the intruder this week.
Blue Security operations manager, Brian Jackson, said a quick-thinking resident of Lancaster Road, Musgrave had spotted a trespasser jumping into his property at 11.44am on Monday morning and snapped the photograph.
“The resident quickly took a photograph of the alleged trespasser, which he showed to one of our reaction officers at the scene. Our officer then patrolled the area and tracked down the suspect in Vause Road,” he said.
The man was arrested and handed over to Berea SAPS members, who attended the scene and took the alleged trespasser into custody.
Jackson said it was unclear whether anything was stolen from the property.
