THE South African Writers' Circle will hold its monthly meeting on Saturday, 21 February at the Westville Library (Room G3) at 11am. The annual general meeting will be conducted first, followed by guest speaker, Dr David Basckin, with a talk entitled 'Hi. I’m David and I am a failed novel writer'. David is a former academic, columnist, film company owner and author.
Dr Alex Coutts will perform the Robert Burns poem, 'Tom O'Shanter', in full Scottish attire. A cocktail party will be held afterwards to which all those attending are invited. Members and visitors are welcome.
