Hirsch treats Youth for Christ girls
Hirsch gave back to the community by treating girls from Youth For Christ to cupcakes and juice after school on Friday.
HIRSCH and Whirlpool staff took time out of their Friday to spend with the girls at Youth For Christ in Umgeni Road.
According to Bianca Hauser, public relations and marketing officer at Hirsch, the store decided to partner up with a brand in store (Whirlpool) and go down to Youth For Christ to share some love with the girls in Valentine's month.
Bongmusa Maphumulo from Whirlpool whipped up four batches of cupcakes, and the girls enjoyed these and glasses of cooldrink.
“We want to show that the store is not only about sales, it is also involved in giving back to the community. It was a lovely afternoon – the girls were very happy with the cupcakes and juice we handed out to them and they left the room with big smiles, which was a great feeling for us,” she said.
