Excellent achievement at DGHS junior prize-giving

Durban Girls High School is proud of their girls' achievements at their recent junior prize-giving ceremony.

DURBAN Girls’ High School is extremely proud of its learners’ achievements and was delighted to have Dr Nic Spaull, an education researcher on Socio-Economic policy at Stellenbosch University, as their Guest Speaker at the school’s recent junior prize-giving ceremony.

“Dr Spaull is more than qualified to address the girls on issues around education. His very impressive CV reflects his commitment to the advancement of education,” said Heather Phipps, public relations officer at the school. “Dr Spaulls research focuses on the quality of education in South Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa. He also sits on the Joint Advisory Committee of the South African Human Rights Commission and writes regularly for South Africa’s major newspapers,” added Phipps.
