Celebrate Hospice Week
The community is invited to visit Highway Hospice during Hospice Week.
HIGHWAY Hospice invites the community to visit any day during Hospice Week, from 3 to 10 May, to find out what the hospice is all about.
Visitors can learn more about palliative care, quality of life for people living with cancer, respect and dignity, quality of care received from hospice staff and decisions people can make when living with the disease.
The Hospice compassion wall at the premises will be launched during the course of the week and visitors are invited to contribute by writing words of compassion on the wall. You can also donate R10 and receive a paper heart or butterfly in memory of loved ones, to be added to Hospice's tree of passion.
