Limited edition paintings go on auction
An auction on two Tessa Dean paintings will be held at the AGM of the Botanical Society of SA KZN Coast Branch.
TWO limited edition prints of Tessa Dean paintings are to be auctioned at the AGM of the Botanical Society of SA KZN Coastal Branch, at the Durban Botanic Gardens Visitors Centre on 26 July at 3pm.
These sought-after collectors’ items are in high quality frames, still in their bubble wrap packaging. The proceeds will be donated to the Botanical Education Trust.
The guest speaker at the AGM will be Prof Steve Johnson of the School of Life Sciences, UKZN Pietermaritzburg, who will speak on The sex life of plants.
Steve’s new book Orchids of South Africa: a field guide which he produced with fellow botanist Benny Bytebier and photographer Herbert Staerker, will be available.
