Book fair fever spreads in Glenwood
Glenwood Book Fair continues on Saturday and Sunday at Phansi Museum from 10:00 until 17:00.
GLENWOOD is still covered in book fever, as the Glenwood Book Fair coninues.
Today, Saturday, September 26, authors, storytellers, and literary enthusiasts take to Phansi Museum.
Among the authors featured on Saturday will be Sue Nyathi, author of The Polygamist, which garnered international acclaim after its adaptation to a Netflix series.
Other authors include Nathi Oliphant, Kiru Naidoo, Illa Thompson, Ayanda Xaba, Irene Fynn, Elana Bregin. A panel discussion will take centre stage, on ‘Being South African’.
The Fair will start at 10:00 until 17:00 at Phansi Museum on Saturday and Sunday.
On Sunday, September 27 at 12:00 the second ‘Being South African’ panel brings together five writers, i.e., best-selling author Dudu Busani-Dube, award-winning psychologist and author Dr Devi Rajab, retired principal Elwyn Bonhomme, acclaimed novelist Kirsten Miller and human rights lawyer Linda Zama.
All sessions are free.
