Man injured in smash

A person was seriously injured in an accident at the intersection of Vause and St Thomas Roads in Musgrave on Sunday night. According to Chris Botha from Netcare 911, paramedics found accident debris and the twisted remains of the vehicles strewn across the intersection. “After triaging, it was found that one man had sustained serious injuries while the occupant from the other vehicle escaped uninjured,” said Botha. Netcare 911 paramedics stabilised the patient and then transported him to hospital.”Exact details of the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain a subject for police comment,” he said.
