Lions donate winter woollies
Lorraine Scott and the Lions of Durban South donated knitted items to children at Baumann House.
THERE was a warm welcome for members of the Lions Club of Durban South who visited Bauman House, a school for partially sighted and blind children at the KZN Society for the Blind, recently.
The children were presented with jerseys, beanies, scarves and bed socks by Lion Lorraine Scott, who was assisted by Wendy and Eddie Steytler and Sheena Lovatt.
The items were knitted for the children by women aged between 60 and 80, who have been involved in the jersey project for the past nine years.
