Child Welfare goes green
Child Welfare Durban and District is encouraging the community to help fill its paper bank.
CHILD Welfare Durban and District actively engages in a recycling evolution project in conjunction with Mpact (formerly known as Mondi Recycling) and urges people to use its paper bank at 20 Clarence Road, Greyville.
The project aims to reuse and recycle paper, and reduce harm to the environment.
“We are proudly ambassadors of this 'go green' project which also helps us raise funds. Help fill our paper bank with any form of paper from newspapers, magazines, cartons among others and encourage your friends and family to contribute to the recycling evolution,” said Melaine Pillay, executive director.
Mpact will donate a specified amount of money to Child Welfare Durban and District for every bag collected.
“We are all actively contributing to a greener, cleaner environment. Join the evolution and make a difference!” she said.
