The SAICE Bridge Building Competition addresses priority scarce skills in civil engineering.
VERY few interventions or career days have the advantage of practically illustrating what a career is all about, however the annual Durban regional SAICE Bridge Building Competition 2016 to be held at Unite, the University of KwaZulu-Natal on Thursday 4 August from 8am, provides learners with this opportunity.
The regional competition is organised by the Durban Branch of the South African Institution of Civil Engineering (SAICE).
The SAICE Durban Branch invites schools to attend this regional of the SAICE International Bridge Building Competition. Pupils are not often exposed to the practical applications of processes through civil engineering which impact their daily lives and this competition affords them such an opportunity.
