Support CHOC fun day
Seven-a-side soccer tournament will help raise funds for CHOC.
CHOC, the Childhood Cancer Foundation SA – Durban in association with SA Shipyards is hosting a 7-a-side soccer tournament on 16 June at Tills Ground in Sydenham.
The community is invited to the family fun day, where all funds raised will go to CHOC Durban.
Food will be on sale and there will be prizes to be won.
CHOC provides supportive care to children with cancer and life threatening blood disorders and their families by providing free accommodation so that children can be treated for cancer, providing transport to and from the hospital, free meals, free laundry services and parents' support groups. “Our programme costs approximately 1.6 million and it is through the generosity of donors we survive. We encourage people to spend the fun day with us and enjoy the programme,” said Agie Govender from CHOC.
