Prep hosts memorial service
A memorial service to commemorate the Battle of Delville Wood will be at Glenwood Prep on Wednesday.
A MEMORIAL service will be at Glenwood Preparatory School on Wednesday, 20 July, to commemorate the centenary of the Battle of Delville Wood.
The formal military service will start at 9.45am, and will honour not only the school’s old boys who gave their lives, but all South Africans who volunteered to serve their country in the two world wars.
The community is invited to attend the service.
