Laser national champs for Durban

THE South African Radio Controlled Laser National Championship will be held on Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 November at the Durban Radio Boat Club at the Model Yacht Pond at Blue Lagoon.

This is the first time since 2013 that the nationals are being held at the Pond.

A fleet of about 20 yachts is expected and competition will be of a high standard with the Norrie Taylor the 2016 Natal Regional Champion leading the charge.

Also in the fleet will be the silver and bronze medal winners from the Natal Regionals, Des Fairbank and Joe Robbertse respectively.

The public is invited to go down to the Pond and view this spectacle on either Saturday or Sunday.
