Moral Regeneration is a nation-building programme undertaken by government and civil society, aimed at promoting human rights, ethical behaviour and the values enshrined in the Constitution of the country.
The concept was introduced by Nelson Mandela when he was president in an effort to resuscitate morality among South Africans. Today, similar forums are being established in all districts in the country.
These forums are meant to intensify the fight against moral decay and open debates on issues of morality in communities.
