Man killed in Dalton Hotel stabbing

A MAN was killed at Dalton Hostel last night after an alleged altercation.
According to Captain Pumzile Makaula, communications officer at Umbilo SAPS, police officers were called to the hostel on Sunday night after a fight broke out.
“The men were sitting and drinking together when an argument broke out between the victim and two brothers. The suspects allegedly stabbed the 51-year-old man in his neck, chest and stomach,” she explained.
Makaula said the injured man died at the scene.

“Our officers followed up on information from witnesses and managed to arrest the two suspects at a witch doctors home in Inanda on Monday morning,” she added.
