Stranger danger

Berea SAPS is urging parents to be vigilant and to teach children to be safe.

BEREA SAPS is urging children to be safe in light of recent child abductions.

Capt Poobalan Naidoo from Berea SAPS said children should never get into a car wìth someone they don’t know and should not accept gifts from a stranger. “Children should never open their front door to people they don’t know if they are home alone and should always tell an adult where they are going and when they will return. A child’s body is private and they have the right to say no if someone tries to take them somewhere or touch them.”
