A GLENWOOD resident is feeling relieved after the municipality attended to an underground leak in Bulwer Road, which he noticed around nine months ago.
Robert Cairnduff said he first noticed the leak last year, as a small puddle on the pavement in front of his property.
“I asked the councillor to come see the problem as I had noticed the puddle getting bigger. This has happened before over the road from my house and a few houses down from me,” he said, stating these had been attended to.

Berea Mail visited the site on a Friday this month, and asked the municipality for comment on the progress on the leak that day.
“A worker visited the site on the Saturday and the problem was fixed. I am so grateful that something has been done as we waited so long for it to be fixed,” said Cairnduff.
He said the underground leaks affected the water pressure at houses in the road and felt that the problem needed to be addressed once and for all.
