Calling all aspiring fashion models
Are you fit for the ramp for 2019 Durban Fashion Fair?
THE iconic Durban Fashion Fair (DFF) will host an open model casting on Friday, 1 March and Saturday, 2 March.
Now in its 8th year, this fashion extravaganza, hosted by eThekwini Municipality, has become a highlight on the annual fashion calendar.
The Municipality will host the open model scouting days for men and women who have not yet signed up to a model agency to model at the Durban Fashion Fair later this year. No experience is required to be part of this audition. All selected individuals will be trained professionally to walk on a runway.
All aspirant/new face models must be in good physical shape and must be between the ages of 16 to 35 years and have a valid ID document and proof of residence to take with them to the casting.

Women must have a minimum height without heels of 1.75 metres with a hip measurement of between 90cm and 92 cm. They must wear minimal makeup, body fitting clothing (no jeans) and take heels. Young men must be no less than 1.83 metres tall and fit into a size 30cm to 32cm pants. They must wear a form fitted T-shirt/shirt and closed shoes (no trainers/takkies).
The casting will take place at the Durban Botanical Gardens Conference Room, 9A John Zikhali Road, Musgrave, starting at 9am sharp for registration and finishing promptly at 3pm on both days.
