Mighty Kids team up for challenge
Mighty Kids will team up for a fitness adventure at uShaka Marine World on Sunday.
KZN’s mightiest mites are invited to get together to take on the uShaka Mighty Kids Fitness Adventure course on Sunday, 3 March at 9am.
This inflatable challenge of slides, spider webs, zorb balls, twists and turns is guaranteed to test any water baby. Young water warriors will be teamed up to take on this unique obstacle course – so dads, moms and kids can brace themselves for plenty of nail-biting fun.
The Mighty Kids event will not only include tiny thrill seekers from across greater Durban coming through to have a splashing time at Wet n Wild, but also the youngsters taking part in the uShaka Swimanathi.

This initiative, a partnership between uShaka Marine World, the Princess Charlene Foundation, Tsogo Sun, Lifesaving SA and the eThekwini Department of Sport and Recreation taught 150 children from uShaka’s neighbouring Addington Primary School, all of whom come from disadvantaged communities, how to enjoy themselves as well as learn about water safely.
Young participants must be aged between 10 to 12 years to compete and on the day will be randomly divided into teams and then participate in a relay based “bondelsport” event.
Entry fee for children is R139 and for parents who want to support their “mighty” competitors, R179, and includes a full day at Wet n Wild.
