Mothibi wins 2019 Comrades in his second attempt

EDWARD Mothibi has won the 2019 Comrades Marathon.

Mothibi, who finished in fourth place in 2018, came home in 5:31:33 ahead of last year’s winner, Bongmusa Mthembu.

100 kilometer world record holder Nao Kazami finished in third place in his first ever Comrades.

His nickname may be 'slender', but #greendreamteam member Edward Mothibi has huge aspirations to win this year's @ComradesRace. Last year, he finished 4th and was the first novice across the line.
