The KZN Deaf Association hosted its annual event to commemorate National Women’s Day at Tsogo Sun, Garden Court, Umhlanga recently.
The theme was gender based violence and guests were Zanele Ncwane and attorney, Kerry Forbes. There was an interactive group discussion around the theme, following two mini presentations and a case study, and then groups discussed and provided feedback.
As it was also a fun day and a treat for the women, there were lucky draws, a modelling competition and everyone received a goodie to take home.
