POLICE are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a 49-year-old man whose body was found lying on the floor of the Sunsquare & Suncoast Towers in Durban on Tuesday.

Colonel Thembeka Mbele, spokesman for SAPS said an inquest docket has been opened. Hotel management also confirmed the incident and said it was co operating with the police investigation. Circumstances surrounding the incident are still unknown but it is expected that the post mortem will determine the cause of death.
