Three suspects nabbed for drug possession in Durban

The men were arrested after they were found in possession of drugs worth R8500.

THE Provincial Drug and Firearm Unit is continuing with its mandate to curb the illegal drug trade in the province, with a recent arrest of three suspects in Montclair and Morningside on Tuesday afternoon, 27 October.

The men were arrested after they were found in possession of 79 capsules of rock cocaine, one large moon of cocaine, 10 mandrax tablets, 25 pieces of rock cocaine, a plastic packet of methcathonone and two plastic packets of crystal meth.

The total value of the recovered drugs is R8 500.

They are expected to appear in the Durban Magistrate’s Court today (28 October).
