Suspect arrested with stolen goods at Durban supermarket
The stolen items included a gas cylinder, microwave and 10kg of flour.
DURBAN Central Police members responded swiftly to a business robbery on Monday, 5 July at 01.30 where they arrested a suspect with stolen items.
The robbery took place at a supermarket on Lancers Road in Durban.
Spokesperson for Durban Central SAPS, Captain Muzi Maphumulo said the suspect is expected to appear in the Durban Magistrate’s Court today, 6 July.

“Durban Central members responded to a complaint of burglary. When police arrived at the scene, they found a man climbing down a ladder from a window of the supermarket. There were some items which had been removed from the shop which were found near the ladder, namely, a gas cylinder microwave and 10kg of flour,” said Maphumulo.
Maphumulo added police arrested the 33-year-old male for burglary and possession of stolen property.
