Suspect at large after copper pipe theft in Umbilo
The case is still under investigation.
A SUSPECT is at large after stealing copper pipes on Fielden Drive in Umbilo.
Lt Col Perumall of Umbilo SAPS confirmed that a case of theft was opened.
“There have been no arrests made yet. The case is still under investigation,” said Perumall.

On their Facebook page, community group, Umbilo South Community Assist, said a victim was attacked by the suspect.
“Please do not approach the suspect as he will not hesitate to attack. A victim was attacked and injured by the suspect,” read the post.
The Berea Mail requested comment from the page’s admin, however did not receive any feedback at the time of publication.
