There was no sign of worry when little ones entered school gates for the first time in 2025 today. Classrooms were already in buzz mode, young minds ready to tackle the books and make friends. Different schools in the area allowed Berea Mail to capture the bright smiles.

School’s calendar year has officially begun, as scores of learners across the country sat for their first day in 2025. It was a bag of mixed emotions for parents as they dropped off the young ones but it was different story for the children, as they posed and smiled to welcome the year ahead.
