Durban Central SAPS seek help in cases of six missing persons

Durban Central SAPS seek assistance in locating six missing persons. The persons in question were last seen around Durban.

POLICE in Durban Central are appealing to the community for assistance in locating Celumusa Goodman Zwane (55) from Masondeza farm, Newcastle. He was last seen on April 13, 2024, at about 13:00 on 33 Beatrice Street, with his friends.

“He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a pink T-shirt. Nkosenhle Sithole (30) from Umlazi township B section was last seen in August 2024 at about 04:25 on Victoria Street, Durban, ” said Sgt Zanele Khomo of Durban Central SAPS.

“Sibongakonke Kaula (21) from Sydenham was last seen on February 28, last year, at about 18:00 when he left Amanzimtoti to Durban station to take a bus to Pretoria University. He was last seen wearing black jeans and a white T-shirt,” added Khomo.

Thulani Sanele Zondi (20) from Mpumalanga township, Hammarsdale is also sought. He was last seen in December 2024 at about 17:00 by North beach swimming pool..

Another missing person, as reported by the police, is Luthando Sipho Dlamini (40) from Gcuwa, Eastern Cape. He was last seen in October last year at about 19:00 near Durban station, as spotted by taxi drivers. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, blue T-shirt, brown shoes and a yellow jacket.

Thapelo Zulu (23) from Pietermaritzburg was last seen in December 2024 at about 11:00 by the North Beach swimming pool, as reported by his friends.

Anyone with information that can assist police to find the missing persons may contact the investigating officer, Detective Warrant Officer BC Msomi on 031 325 4071 / 083 874 4274 or Crime Stop on 08600 10111.
