During National Wills Week, Community Chest Durban will host a public event to demystify the process of legacy giving, where legal professionals will offer free advice, answer questions and clarify the legal steps involved in drafting a will and making a bequest.
IN commemoration of National Wills Week, Community Chest Durban is hosting an event dedicated to bequests, legacy giving and the importance of having a valid will. The event will take place on Thursday, September 18, from 09:30 to 11:30.
The public are invited to explore how their generosity today can shape a better tomorrow.
The presentation aims to demystify the process of legacy giving, an often overlooked but powerful way to support charitable causes beyond one’s lifetime. Attendees will gain insight into how simple planning can ensure their values live on, while also securing peace of mind for loved ones.
Two experienced legal professionals, Misha Badassy and Trishal Sharma, will offer free advice, answer questions and clarify the legal steps involved in drafting a will and making a bequest. Their presence is aimed at making legacy planning accessible and understandable for all.
