uShaka’s Wet ’n Wild reopens after temporary closure

uShaka Marine World's Wet 'n Wild is to reopen to the public on Thursday following its temporary closure last week.

USHAKA Marine World has confirmed the reopening of Wet ’n Wild which was temporarily closed to the public last week due to a pipe burst.

Wet ‘n Wild is scheduled to resume operations tomorrow (Thursday, March 5). Thandeka Magomola, uShaka Marine World PR and Events Manager, said the burst resulted in the flooding of the plant room, “affecting key operational filtration and electrical equipment” for Wet ’n Wild.

“The temporary closure was necessitated by a technical fault within the water plant system, which required immediate attention to safeguard critical operational infrastructure and to ensure proper water quality for our guests,” said Magomola.

“Our technical teams have worked around the clock to complete the required repairs and conduct thorough inspections to ensure that all water quality and safety standards are fully compliant.”

She added, “We extend our sincere appreciation to all stakeholders for their patience during this time and for their continued support.”
