Point Waterfront Festival set to host epic line-up with exciting activities

The Breakfast Collective’s Point Waterfront Arts Festival edition pop-up is set for this weekend with loads of epic activities and shows on the agenda!

IF you are looking to visit a hub of creativity, music, art and comedy, head down to the Point Waterfront Arts Festival this weekend.

The Point Waterfront Arts Festival is a fresh grassroots event that sees a bunch of creative Durbanites team up to present an incredible four days of theatre, comedy, music, art and more. The event is free and open to all, including pets, and will be hosted at OnPoint Waterfront on Sunday, September 11 from 10:00 until 17:00.

The family-friendly event will have free and paid-for activities in multiple locations within the Point Waterfront precinct.

The aim of the festival is to allow people to explore the precinct. Activities include an affordable art show, the My Dream City Youth Art Show, the Point Market hosted by the Breakfast Collective (a roaming pop-up collaborative organisation celebrating Durban-based crafters, designers, and DJs), a series of photography and art exhibitions, and comedy and solo shows hosted by Not Quite Right Comedy. There will also be interactive street pop-ups – three nights of music in partnership with the Music Imbizo.
