Khulisa Buthelezi, who works for the fire department, said, “It is important for us to teach kids what to do. In case of a fire breaking out, many fatalities tend to be those of children. They also need to know what fire hazards are and how to stay clear of them.”

The children were very excited to get on the fire truck and see how it looked inside. The staff said they are anticipating that a lot of people will visit the library. “Many people have been waiting for the library to re-open, and we are excited to be of service to them with the many services we offer,” said Colleen Naidu.
