Join uShaka Beach festive clean-up

The community is encouraged to join the South Africa Association for Marine Biological Research (SAAMBR) with a clean-up of uShaka Beach as a support of the eThekwini Muncipality’s seasonal clean-up campaign.

THE South Africa Association for Marine Biological Research (SAAMBR) will be supporting the eThekwini Municipality’s season clean-up campaign this December, with a clean-up of uShaka Beach. 

“We are looking forward to supporting the eThekwini Municipality season clean-up campaign by hosting our final clean-up for the year on Saturday, December 9,” said SAAMBR in a statement released on their Facebook page.

“If you would like to be part of this campaign to keep our beaches clean this season, you are most welcome to join us on uShaka Beach between 08:00 and 10:00. We will be concentrating our efforts on picking up nurdles, plastic and anything else we find that does not belong on the beach,” said SAAMBR.
