eThekwini Municipality to host Town Talk session

The eThekwini Municipality has launched a public discussion platform titled Talk Town to discuss important issues with the public and keep members of the public in the loop regarding City developments.

THE City is due to host a Town Talk on eradicating problem buildings this evening.

Anyone interested in engaging with the municipality and hearing about important developments in the City can join online or in person at the Luthuli Hall at the Durban City Hall from 18:00 to 19:30.

According to a statement released by the City, this comes as the municipality has identified the renewal of the inner city as a primary focus for bolstering economic vitality, tourism appeal and residential desirability.

This week marks the second instalment of the City’s Town Talk sessions, dedicated to addressing issues surrounding problems and under-utilised structures within the inner city.
