Thank you Capt Premhid

Umbilo CPF thanks Umbilo SAPS's Capt Premhid for work he did over his more than 30 years in service.

EDITOR – On behalf of the Umbilo CPF we would like to thank Captain Rakesh Premhid who left the Umbilo SAPS on 19 September after a long service of 30 years.

It is a sign of passion and commitment to work for one organisation for the rest of your professional career. It was a pleasure to work with someone like Captain Rakesh Premhid, he was someone always willing to help anytime you called him.

He was someone who was very passionate about community involvement or participation as he believed that if the community gets involved in working with police in fighting crime there is no way that criminals can succeed.

We wish him well in his plans to furthering his career in the field of law. We know that as he made an impact in our police service and we believe that he will also make an impact in which ever career he chooses to further.

We would like to thank his family, especially his wife, for allowing him to be involved in fighting crime in our area of Umbilo and Glenwood.

We are looking forward to working with him in future as he still remains a resident of eThekwini.
