EDITOR – For many years now I have looked forward week by week to receiving the Berea Mail through door to door delivery and for that I am deeply appreciative.
The reason for my email is that for a while now I have stopped looking forward to this publication due to the fact that for the first few pages all we read about is crime, murder, death etc.This is the prime reason I stopped buying the Daily News newspaper. It
makes me feel depressed and uninspired and extremely sad to think that our prime focus these days, as much as all this is happening to and around us, is so jolly negative when there are so many positive things happening too, as is reported much further into your publication.
My question to you is, could you please consider the order in which the local news is printed? As a community we all need encouragement and hope and to touch with the goodness of humanity which is also alive and well out there. Give it a try and let's see what evolves from it.
