Night clubs and residential zones cannot coexist

A resident living near Florida Road feels residents need to be respected.

EDITOR – I would like to comment on the article which appeared in the Berea Mail on 17 October under the heading “Sleep-deprived resident fed up with noisy Florida Road.”

I live two blocks away from Florida Road and residents in our block are also disturbed by the noise. The licenses of those noisy night clubs should be revoked. How they ever came to be granted is unacceptable and those concerned did not give due thought to the consequences of such a poor decision.

Night clubs and residential areas are not compatible and cannot co-exist. The residents were here first and their concerns should be considered first before some crazy person issues such licenses.
