Warning sign dumped

The 'no dumping' sign erected at a dump site in Che Guevara Road has gone missing.

EDITOR – Regarding the article 'DSW steps in to curb illegal dumping.'

At this time, nothing I do, say or write can have any impact on my political aspirations. So, here goes: I suppose if the councillor is now working in Ward 28, her Ward 33 is sorted, model. Curious to see this warning, I visited the site – which has been a dumpsite for many years.

Imagine my shock (and amusement) this morning at seeing that the warning was missing. And, mind you, more dumped material than I have ever noticed at this particular site.

Isn't it amazing how effective mere signage is? What this one fails to highlight is just when and where the lessons will be delivered.

But then, it does serve to tick the relevant performance box, doesn't it?
