Street light blues

Ward councillor Nicole Graham will get action from the municipality on broken street lights.

EDITOR – It has been months since I complained to the eThekwini Municipality Street Lights Department.

My last call was on 16 April, reference no 2426453 asking that they would repair the street lamp on the corner of Chelmsford and Ellis Brown Roads.

To date, it is still not working. Now the street lamp on the opposite side of the road is also out which makes the road dark. This is very concerning for general safety.

I don't know what to do any more to get the street lamps repaired. Any advice will be welcome.

Ward councillor Nicole Graham responds:

I have contacted the relevant department and asked them to resolve this matter as soon as possible. If people do not get action from normal municipal channels, they are welcome to e-mail me and I will take the complaints up and hopefully get them resolved.
