EDITOR – Your article in the Berea Mail dated 19 December was timely.
Can you please supply me with Roshni Mehta’s address so myself and fellow Glenwood sufferers can set up suitable unmodulated musical entertainment outside her home.
It is obvious that the city fathers believe that people who choose to live in what real estate agents describe as a “quiet leafy suburb”, need to have their sleep time/rest period disturbed by the “creating (of) entertainment districts”.
I assume that the Boxing Day cacophony established near the KZN gallery was the first of these offerings.
Non-stop noise from early in the day until late at night. No more thank you.
May I suggest that Roshni moves the “district” closer to her own home, and if she is bored and lives in Glenwood, that she considers moving to a more exciting area. The CBD?
