There are still good people in the world

A motorist offers thanks to people who helped her when she had an accident in Morningside.

EDITOR – I would like to sincerely thank the wonderful people that helped me when I had a recent minor accident in Woodley Grove (off Florida Road) on Thursday 16 July at approximately 9.30am.

A kind gentleman stopped to see if I was alright and called a Netcare ambulance – I am so sorry I didn’t get his name. A wonderful lady by the name of Thelma stayed with me and gave me emotional support throughout the ordeal.

Sean Maree and Sphamandla Shange from Netcare were amazing. They made sure I was well enough and then helped me home – even changing the wheel on the car for me. Both my children were out of town and they also send their heartfelt appreciation to everyone.

It is people such as all of you who make the world a better place and remind us that there are still so many good people in the world.
