Thank you, Andrew

Good hearted car guard, Andrew Ntambwe has helped the SPCA, through his honesty.

EDITOR – Last week, Windermere Centre car guard Andrew Ntambwe found a large bag of dog food which was left behind in a trolley.

As is Windermere's policy, all “lost and found” items are handed into centre management for safe keeping and hopefully collection by their rightful owners.

After a period of time, if the items are not collected and the centre is unable to trace the owner/s, said items are given to the person who initially finds them.

As the centre was unable to trace the owner and the dog food was not collected it was given to Andrew. Not having an animal himself and being acutely aware of the plight of domestic animals currently, he kindly donated his “find” to the SPCA collection in Checkers.
